Happy Holidays from My Family to Yours
The holiday season is always special — encouraging both reflection and gratitude.
Over the past few months, I have been proud to see Granite Staters come together to support each other and bring holiday joy to people from all walks of life.
One initiative I was excited to participate in was Laura Landerman-Garber’s Military Holiday Card Challenge. This year, she sent more than 160,000 cards from her home in Hollis to our service members. She has spread holiday cheer in this way for 16 years — and, with the helping hands of many volunteers, she’s been able to send more and more cards each year.
I also enjoyed taking part in the U.S. Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots program. Marines go the extra mile to ensure that kids will have a present under the tree, collecting toys that will be distributed to thousands of children across New Hampshire.
These are just a few of the many incredible initiatives that have taken place across the Granite State throughout this holiday season. And it is this type of service that makes me extraordinarily proud to call myself a Granite Stater.
To all of my fellow Granite Staters and Americans, I wish you great joy and happiness throughout this holiday season.
